Trails for disabled

Virtual Lower Silesia guide was created to increase the tourist activities of the disabled.

There are around 5,5 million of the disabled people in Poland which constitutes 14% of the whole Polish society.

Participation of the disabled in tourist peregrination, especially in so called active tourism, is far from standards which the disabled would like to have as well as from the European trends.

The guide shows the availability of the tourist objects for the disabled with different level of disability (for those using wheelchairs as well).  This availability should be  the impulse for preparing tourist escapades, planning journeys, trips and walks in the region of Lower Silesia.

The virtual guide is a wonderful and  worth imitating attempt to equal chances of the disabled in the availability of tourism as well as to aspire and include such people in the social life of the whole society.

There are several dozen Lower Silesia tourist routes presented in the guide, designed for the disabled.
